Connect your AI assistant to the team inbox

Intray runs an MCP server, so an assistant you already use can search your conversations, read threads, and write reply drafts. You sign in to Intray, pick a workspace, and choose what the assistant may change.

  1. 1

    Add the server URL

In your assistant, add https://mcp.intray.ai as a custom connector.

  2. 2

Sign in and pick a workspace

Intray shows which app is asking and where its access goes. You pick one workspace and decide whether it may write drafts, labels, status, and notes.

  3. 3

    Ask about your inbox

The assistant searches and reads conversations in that workspace with your permissions, and sees nothing outside it.

Drafts wait for a person to send them

An assistant can write a reply draft on any conversation. The draft appears above the reply box as Claude drafted a reply, addressed to the customer on the thread. A teammate edits and sends it, or discards it. The MCP server has no tool that sends email.

What an assistant can do in Intray

Access stays with the person who connected it

Each connection acts as you, in one workspace, with the permissions you picked.

One workspace per connection

The assistant works in the workspace you picked on the consent page and cannot see your other workspaces.

Writing needs its own permission

Searching and reading need read access. Drafts, labels, status, and notes need write access, which you can leave unchecked.

Disconnect from Settings

Settings, then Connected apps lists every assistant with access. Disconnecting one ends its access within a minute.
