Intray is a shared inbox for conversational and transactional email. This Email Use Policy explains the standards that apply to every message sent through Intray and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Expected and Permission-Based Email
You may send email only when the recipient would reasonably expect to receive it. This includes replying to a conversation the recipient started, responding to a request, or sending an operational message related to an existing customer or business relationship.
Promotional or subscription email requires the recipient's affirmative consent and a clear way to unsubscribe. You must keep appropriate evidence of consent and honor unsubscribe and do-not-contact requests promptly.
Prohibited Sending
You must not use Intray to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email or cold-email campaigns;
- Send to purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, or otherwise third-party-sourced recipient lists;
- Continue sending after a recipient has unsubscribed, complained, or asked not to be contacted;
- Mislead recipients about the sender, subject, source, or purpose of a message;
- Distribute phishing, malware, fraudulent content, or material that violates applicable law or another person's rights; or
- Attempt to bypass sending limits, suppression controls, or restrictions imposed by Intray or another provider.
Bounces, Complaints, and Suppression
Intray processes delivery events from its email infrastructure providers. Addresses associated with hard bounces or complaints are automatically suppressed from further sending. Workspace members may also manually block a recipient. Suppression controls must not be bypassed or used to resume sending without a lawful and reliable basis.
Enforcement
We may investigate sending activity and limit, suspend, or terminate sending when necessary to protect recipients, provider relationships, or shared sending reputation. We may take action based on complaint, bounce, block, or other abuse signals, including before a violation causes broader harm.
Report Abuse
If you received unwanted or abusive email sent through Intray, contact us at abuse@intray.ai. Include the original message headers when possible so we can investigate the sending activity accurately.
